Placing an order

The Provider is not responsible for an incorrectly placed order. Please make sure you have entered your order details correctly before sending it, and check carefully that you have identified each item correctly. If you find a mistake in an order you have sent, please contact the Provider at the email address and phone number given. You can also use the section “Changes to an order”.

An order is considered accepted by the Provider once a confirmation has been received at the phone number and/or email address given by the Client. The confirmation includes a description of the Order, the number under which it is registered and the time for completion.

Please quote your order number or your name and address whenever you contact the Provider about it.

If the Provider is unable to fulfil an Order, it will let you know by email or by phone.

Changes to an order

The Client may change their order at any time before the pickup time by notifying the Provider on 0878199399.

In certain circumstances the Provider may ask the Client to agree to a change to the Order as an alternative to cancelling it.

The Client will be notified of any change to the Order made by the Provider.

Cancelling or rescheduling an order

The Client may cancel or reschedule an order free of charge at any time up to two hours before the agreed pickup time, by calling +359 878 199399.

Cancelling or rescheduling an order less than two hours before pickup, or being unavailable for the return, is charged an extra €5.

The Provider may cancel an order in the following circumstances:

  • As a result of an Event outside the Provider’s control.
  • If the Client does not make it possible to collect the items in the order.
  • If an item does not match the description in the order, is damaged, has no information about its composition or cleaning instructions, or is not among the services the Provider offers.

If the Order is cancelled, the Client will be notified by phone and/or email.

If the Order is already being processed, the Client will not be charged and owes nothing.

Pickup and delivery

The Provider makes reasonable efforts to collect and deliver the Client’s order at the agreed time but cannot guarantee it. The Provider will let the Client know of any delay by phone or by email.

If the Client is unable to receive the order, the Provider will contact the Client to arrange delivery at another time convenient to the Client, within the Provider’s working hours. If delivery is not possible at the agreed time through the Client’s fault, each further delivery attempt is charged €5.

If the Client fails to receive the order, or to arrange a new delivery, for more than 90 days after the date of the Provider’s repeat attempt to return it, the Provider is entitled to dispose of the items in the order as it sees fit.

Every pickup and delivery of an Order is confirmed by signature.

The Client may entrust the pickup or return to a third party, on condition that they do so at their own risk and the third party is prepared to sign the confirmation on the Client’s behalf.

The Client may give the Provider written instructions to deliver their order to a specific place without a signature. If the Client chooses to do so, it is at their discretion and they bear the full risk of damage to or loss of items in the order.

Standards of the Services

The Provider delivers its Services with the utmost care and skill, in line with good industry standards.

The Provider is not responsible for delay in or failure to provide the Service(s) if information given by the Client in the order is incorrect — for example, if the address is incomplete or inaccurate.

Any item handed over without a care label will be treated at the discretion of the Provider’s specialists, without guarantee and at the Client’s responsibility.

The Provider will let the Client know by phone or by email if any items in the order are at increased risk of damage, including items:

  • with special cleaning requirements or instructions;
  • that are damaged or stained;
  • that contain foreign or hazardous objects, such as ornaments, jewelry, buttons, pens and the like.

The items listed above will only be treated with the Client’s express consent and at the Client’s responsibility.

Individual laundry — wash, dry and fold

Checking contents — please check all clothes carefully for hazardous objects, such as coins, pens, keys and lighters. The Provider is not responsible for objects lost or damaged as a result of the cleaning process.

Washing and drying — clothes are washed on a 30-degree cycle and dried at medium temperature. Please note that items in this service are not ironed.

Sorting — the Provider will separate light and dark clothes and take the utmost care of them. The Provider is not responsible if an item bleeds color and/or damages other clothes during cleaning.

Damaged items — in this service the Provider does NOT inspect the care label of each garment and is therefore not responsible for damage to clothes that need special treatment, such as leather, silk, cashmere, faux leather, velvet and other delicate clothes. Please make sure you only hand over for Individual laundry items that may be washed and tumble-dried.

Exclusions — the individual wash, dry and fold service does not include items such as bed linen, towels, blankets, light duvets and thick winter jackets. If such items are included, they will be charged extra according to the Provider’s price list and the amount added to the Client’s bill.

Tagging — laundry items are tagged together as one lot, not individually as in dry cleaning. The Provider is not responsible for missing pieces in individual laundry.

Curtains

Although the Provider uses special cleaning programs and products for all curtains, there are some inherent risks, which include:

Shrinkage of 4% to 8%, depending on the fabric.

Sunlight, age, general wear and certain weather conditions can weaken fabrics, which may cause them to tear or fray during cleaning.

Cleaning removes dirt, which may reveal:

  • Fading from sunlight.
  • Yellowing of the fabric from smoke.
  • Loss of color caused by wear.

Problems with the services

As a consumer, the Client has statutory rights if the Provider does not perform the Services with reasonable skill and care, or if the materials used are defective or unsuitable.

If there is a problem with the Services, the Client can contact the Provider on 0878199399 or at [email protected].

Prices and payment

The prices at which the Provider offers its Services to the Client are set out in the Price List published at thecleanspotbg.com/en/prices. The Provider may change the Price List when necessary, but changes will not affect orders already placed.

The Provider accepts payment in cash or by card on a POS terminal.

The service is paid for when the order is collected or when it is delivered.

The prices in the Price List include VAT. If the VAT rate changes between the date the order is accepted and the date of payment, the Provider will adjust the final price by the difference in VAT.

Liability

In the unlikely event that an item is lost or damaged, the Provider will pay fair compensation in line with the compensation guidelines of the Dry Cleaners’ Association. These guidelines state that fair and reasonable compensation should be paid, based on the wear and age of the item. Before any compensation is agreed, the Provider may ask for receipts, till slips, bank statements or credit card statements confirming the purchase price. Without valid proof of purchase, the compensation offered may be limited.

The Provider owes compensation for the loss of or damage to items in an order caused by its own negligence, subject to the following conditions:

  • The Provider is not liable for a single item valued at more than €250 unless it has received (and confirmed) notice of it by email at [email protected].
  • The Provider is not liable for loss or damage that is foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is an obvious consequence of the services provided by the Provider and the Client was warned of the possibility.
  • The Provider is not liable for any damage whatsoever (including, without limitation, loss of color, shrinkage or other damage) resulting from the following:
  • If the Client did not inform the Provider of it or did not give cleaning instructions for the item.
  • If the item has no label and cleaning instructions are missing.
  • Any existing damage present when the Provider accepted the item.
  • Any objects left in or on the item, including but not limited to coins, buttons, jewelry, cufflinks, collar stays or pens.
  • Any packaging handed over with the item, including but not limited to hangers, garment bags or personal laundry bags.
  • The Provider is not liable for melted or lost buttons, broken zips, appliqués, decorative ornaments and unstuck hems.
  • The Provider is not liable and gives no guarantee for the cleaning of heavily soiled clothes or old and set-in stains.

Force majeure

The Provider is not liable for inability, delay or failure to perform its obligations under these Terms when this is caused by events outside the Provider’s control.

Events outside its control means any act or event such as a disaster or force majeure, including but not limited to strikes, lockouts or other industrial action by third parties, civil unrest, riot and invasion; also a terrorist attack or threat of a terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or the threat of or preparation for war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, epidemic or other natural disaster, and the closure or failure of public infrastructure.

If a force majeure event outside the Provider’s control affects the performance of its obligations under these terms, the Provider:

Will notify the Client as soon as possible.

Will extend the time for performing its obligations under these terms by the duration of the event.

The Provider will not charge for cancelling an order in a force majeure situation.

Use of personal data. The Provider’s privacy policy.

Personal data provided by the Client is used to:

Perform services and process payment.

Provide further information about products and/or services offered by the Provider.

The Provider will not pass the Client’s personal data to a third party without the Client’s express consent, except where required by law.

Re-cleaning policy

Re-cleaning applies only to individual items cleaned by the Provider with which the Client is not satisfied. Re-cleaning can only be done if the item has its receipt or order number attached.

General terms for dry cleaning and laundry

If there are no manufacturer’s care instructions for the fabric, the garment is accepted without guarantee.

Leather garments are accepted for cleaning without guarantee.

Garments handed in for cleaning are not considered new.

Complaints are accepted when the garment is collected.

Heavily soiled clothes and old and set-in stains are accepted at the workshop only without guarantee.

The Provider is not liable for melted or lost buttons, broken zips, appliqués, decorative ornaments and unstuck hems.

Other terms

The Provider may transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms to another organization, in which case it must notify the Client in writing. The Client’s rights in that case are guaranteed by the Provider.

This agreement is between the Provider and the Client. No other person has any right to enforce any of its terms.

If a court declares any clause of these terms void, this does not affect the validity of the rest.

These terms are governed by Bulgarian law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Bulgarian courts.
